 Chi Alpha; yes that's Greek for something. Actually it means "Christ First," and that is the whole point of this Youth Group. Ranging from grades 6 all the way up to seniors in High School, our youth are increasingly more active in building up healthy relationships with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Every Sunday night starting at 5 we come together to sing songs, pray, dig into the Bible, play games, and let loose and find new creative ways to share our faith with those around us. For instance: we are finding ourselves having a reputation as being one of the finest puppeteers in all of Oshkosh. Taking our stage all over the country, and soon the world, to help put together children's programs that teach Biblical principles to young ones. Our short terms service project will have us coming face to face with missionary work around the world, more specifically in Puerto Rico in August 2008. Preparing in the youth group's hearts a possibility to do this work more full-time later in our lives.
We want to encourage all the prayer that you can send us, along with anyone our age that is interested in joining us for fellowship. Even if you're in the mood to just make friends. Come and see how Jesus affects lives!
